Butterfingers
IDENTITYPACKAGINGPhotography
A new genre of baking. Butterfingers was a project that involved collaborating with an artist patissier who is at the crossroads of art, fashion, film, and pastry. The baker Preetanjali believes that the decorative layer of fondant on a cake never tastes good. So she chooses to make these delicious naked cakes sans fondant where the parfait and sponge are visible in their perfect layers.
As a branding agency, we had to use this unique information somehow, and we re-created these layers on paper using a spatula and colored parfait and digitized them to create the illustration for the packaging.
Using the layers of parfait visible on the naked cakes (sans fondant) this vibrant hexagonal packaging was created.
