This book honors the guards of the forests of Karnataka, those who are responsible for keeping these distinct landscapes protected.

This project took us over 500 hours to create - culminating in an exhibit in Aranya Bhavan, where these panoramic photographs were exhibited on full scale. Shot by the most talented photographers, this book is special, because of what it aims to achieve. To involve and engage people and give them a vantage view of the beauty, diversity, and complexity of our state which is 25% forest. It is only through this witnessing that one can develop a fondness and an inclination to want to preserve it.
