The Future of Commerce and Design in the Age that Approaches Consumption Fatigue
Consumption will massively reduce because one can have everything in 9 min including the latest iPhone. We suddenly find ourselves with more objects, otps, courier guys calling for delivery instructions, and boxes than we can stomach.
The question will then be - What is worthy of space. In my body in my home in my cupboard? What is worthy of my time?
Personal items: is it comfortable, cherishable, good to touch, useful everyday, can I travel with it, is it good for me and not so destructive.
Business : will this enable me and my team? Will this guide me? Will this hold me accountable, will it prevent me from making mistakes, will it have checks and balances for me to spend more than I can afford to.
Homes: will it make me healthier, make me connect with people and nature, allow me to recluse and connect with my ancestors and give me a sense of identity?
News and Information: is this truthful and fair, does it make me feel peaceful, work in my larger interest to keep me informed yet not influence me with corporate or political bias.
